My name is CLEOPATRA and S.P.A. rescued me after I was taken to a veterinarian's office... pregnant and due to deliver.
S.P.A. received a call from a distressed woman who lived in Port Clinton. She said that her neighbor had been feeding a beautiful silver tiger who was obviously pregnant. Her neighbor?s husband, who she said is a complete jerk, told his wife, "IF THAT STRAY CAT ISN'T GONE BY TONIGHT I AM TAKIN' IT ON A ONE WAY RIDE TO THE COUNTRY!? The woman said she?d drive the cat to S.P.A.?s vet?s office, and pay for one day?s boarding if we would help this poor cat.
Cleopatra gave birth to Tulip, Violet, Scotch Pine and Iris . Tulip and Violet were adopted to a wonderful home in Oak Harbor when they were still kittens, but, Cleopatra, Scotch and Iris have still not been adopted... but they haven't given up hope! Cleopatra is an extremely friendly feline. She will snuggle up with you on your favorite chair or follow you around watching with curiosity. Cleopatra was a very young mother, maybe 1 or 2 years old which means she is about 10 years old now. She has beautiful green eyes and a sleek silver coat. She is healthy and often is playful, like a kitten. There are an over-abundance of cats in the world because of irresponsible human beings. And S.P.A. will only adopt animals they have rescued to extra special homes, where they know the animals will be loved and cared for properly. Updated 9-3-13.
